No matter what we do to live, no matter how old we are, no matter where we grew up, we all share this thing in common: the desire to be successful and to succeed in life. Real success should be defined by yourself, in relation to your goals, and who you want to become.
What success means for one person can be very different from what it means for another. For some to feel successful it can be sports cars, beautiful houses, beautiful clothes. To be successful for others is may be to be a good parent, a good partner, a good friend. For others, being successful just means being happy. Or, it can be all those things mixed up.
For me real success has to do with this principle:
Your success, your happiness, all you really want in your life must begin with an unshakeable and non-negotiable desire, a deep commitment and tireless perseverance. Without them, you cannot overcome the hardships, the tests, the challenges that will come your way and that will jostle you to see how much you want to achieve things. Because it is through hardships that you will discover yourself and the purpose of your life which is what you were looking for when you started.
